1) Copy the paul.dll, gtaiv.exe and Launchgtaiv.exe in your mainfolder
2) Copy the paul.dll also in your “Offlineactivation”-Folder
3) Open gtaiv.exe and accept the rockstar Terms of Use.

Editor’s Note: Don’t get too excited yet, read this first. The crack does not work completely. If you follow instructions correctly you will be able to launch the game. But the game is unplayable. The camera is constantly rotating, the controls don’t work, you can’t save your game because you have to be online to do so and finally some people report missing textures too. I have personally tested it and for me it does all the above except the missing textures, the graphics works fine for me. Anyway I decided to post this because it’s a small progress. From what I read these things happen because the game’s protection does not only check for authenticity when you launch the game but has built in security checks throughout the game but I don’t know for sure. This must be why it’s taking so long for the scene groups to crack it properly. This is some strong

in’ protection. Anyway I hope a proper comes soon.

Update: All these I mentioned above happened the first time I launched the game. I launched it a second time and everything works fine. No moving camera, controls work fine but you still cannot save your progress.
